How to Transfer Money From a Credit Card to a Bank Account
Last updated: · By C2C Enterprises
If you are wondering how to transfer money from a credit card to a bank account, you have a few options in India. Each has different costs, limits and risks.
This guide lists them in plain words so you can choose what fits.
Method 1: Net banking fund transfer (some banks)
A few banks let you move money from your credit card to your bank account through their own app or net banking. This is usually treated as a cash advance, with a fee and interest from day one. Check whether your bank offers it and read the costs.
Method 2: Cheque from your card issuer
Some issuers used to offer "credit card cheques" or "fund transfer" products. Few still do. If yours does, it may come with a processing fee or EMI terms.
Method 3: Payment apps
For a while, many apps let people pay rent or contacts using a credit card. Many of these features are now limited or closed. See card to bank transfer without an app for the details.
Method 4: Visit an office in person
This is what we do. You visit our office in JP Nagar 7th Phase with your card, Aadhaar card and PAN card. You pay with your card at our counter. We send the agreed amount by IMPS to your own bank account, after checking that the names match.
Comparing the methods
| Method | Typical cost | Speed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank's own fund transfer | Cash advance fee plus interest | Same day | Only some banks offer it |
| Issuer cheque | Processing fee or EMI | Days | Rare now |
| Payment apps | App fee | Fast | Many options withdrawn |
| Our office | From 2.2% | Minutes after verification | In person, own account only |
Costs vary by bank, so always read your card's terms.

More detail is in our what to bring checklist.
Golden rules
- Only your own account. Never send card money to someone else's account through any service.
- Never share OTP, PIN or CVV. No genuine service needs them from you.
- Repay on time. It is still card debt.
- Avoid shady links. Card to bank offers through random links are a common scam.
Which method should you pick?
For a bank transfer of ₹10,000 or more, with someone explaining each step, an office visit works well. For long-term needs, a personal loan may be cheaper. Look at our charges and our credit card to bank account transfer service to compare.
Transfer method questions
Can I transfer from a credit card to a bank account using UPI?
Generally no. Credit cards on UPI are for paying merchants, not for sending money to bank accounts.
What is the cheapest way?
It depends on your bank's fees and how long you need the money. Compare your card's cash advance terms with our charge, which starts from 2.2%.
How long does an IMPS transfer take?
Usually a few minutes. IMPS runs all day, every day, including holidays.
Can I send the money straight to a supplier?
Not through us. We send money only to your own account. You can then pay your supplier from it.
