Credit Card to Bank Transfer Without an App
Last updated: · By C2C Enterprises
A credit card to bank transfer without an app is possible if you visit a physical office. In Bengaluru, many people who once used phone apps for this now find those options closed or limited.
This guide explains why that happened and what the offline alternative looks like.
Why the app route stopped working for many people
For a few years, some payment apps let you "pay rent" or "pay a contact" using a credit card. The money then reached a bank account. Since 2024, several of these features were paused, restricted or removed, as regulators and card networks tightened rules on how such payments are processed.
Exact rules change, and each app behaves differently. If your rent payment option has stopped working, that is likely the reason. The app or your bank can tell you the current position.
Credit card rent payment not working? An alternative, and other options
- Ask the landlord to accept a card. Rare, but some property managers can.
- Pay from your savings account and use your card for other daily spends instead.
- Use an EMI or personal loan if you need longer to repay.
- Visit an office in person where the card payment is made at a counter and the money goes to your own account.
Our office is option four. It does not pay your landlord directly. It moves money into your own account, and you then pay whoever you need to.

Why some people prefer the in-person route
- You see who you are dealing with. A real office, with a real address.
- You can ask questions before any money moves.
- The payout goes only to you. Nobody can redirect it.
- Fewer scams. Fake apps and links that promise card to bank transfers are a known risk. Meeting face to face removes that risk.
Stay safe from fake offers
Be wary of messages that offer card to bank transfers through a link, a QR code or a screen-sharing app. Never share your card number, CVV, OTP or PIN with a stranger. A real business will never need your OTP from you.
What it costs
Our charges start from 2.2%, with a minimum transaction of ₹10,000. You can test numbers on the fee calculator. For the full picture of costs, see credit card to bank transfer charges explained.
Before you come
Read the what to bring checklist. It covers small things, like turning on card machine payments in your bank app, that save time at the counter.
No-app questions
Can you pay my landlord directly from my card?
No. We send money only to the cardholder's own bank account. You then pay your landlord yourself.
Do I need to install anything?
No. You only need your physical card, your Aadhaar card, PAN card and your bank details.
Why did my app stop credit card rent payments?
Many apps paused or changed these features after rule changes since 2024. Your app or bank can confirm the current position for your card.
Is the in-person route slower than an app?
The process takes up to 5 minutes. The IMPS credit itself usually arrives within minutes.
Someone sent me a link for card to bank transfer. Is it safe?
Be very careful. Never share OTPs, CVV or PIN through a link. If in doubt, ignore it and call your bank.
